We’re still recovering from last year’s crushing release Mind Pollution, but our Dutch friends in LIES! never hit the brakes. For the third year in a row, they’re dropping new music—this time a digital EP titled Victory Defeats Us All, recorded at 3181 Studio.
This release features a guest appearance from Rob (Born From Pain) on the track The Storm. Three singles had already been unleashed, and crowds got a first taste of the new songs during the Rebellion Tour with Madball, Speed and others. The reactions were really good, so it was time to finish and release the full EP.
LIES! has carved out a solid place in the European hardcore scene. Their blend of metallic aggression and non-generic mosh parts makes them stand out. If you’re into Hatebreed, Scarab, All Out War, and Whispers, you definitely need to check out these new songs.
